• Storing in the closet. Best on a hanger, in a cotton cover. Avoid plastic bags, as they do not allow air to circulate.
• If the shirt is a family heirloom or for special occasions, periodically take it out of the closet to let the fabric "breathe."

Restoring an old vyshyvanka

• Restoration by a specialist. If the fabric is severely damaged, it's better to consult a professional.
• Caution. Do not use aggressive chemicals – this can permanently ruin the item.
